Cameron Pocock:

It's helped quality of life, and also getting back to the things I like doing without all the stress and having to worry about organizing a lot of stuff myself. Funding as well, that's a big thing, not having to find the money at once.

Cameron Pocock:

It took a while to get used to that Penny was there, and knowing that I could call Penny.

Cameron Pocock:

Well Penny and the scheme, they've organized a lot of my rehabilitation appointments at MPOT, and organizing and funding the leg, and getting all that sorted for me.

Cameron Pocock:

Well the bathroom had to be basically bigger because it wasn't wheelchair accessible. I had to have obviously a big open shower screen to be able to get in. Then there was also the ramp out the back that got installed, to be able to access the house with a wheelchair.

Cameron Pocock:

I wouldn't have the things that I've got without the scheme. The one I've got enables me to do a lot more than what it would be able to if I wasn't probably on the scheme, and it just makes activity so much easier and it makes every day life stuff a lot easier.

Cameron Pocock:

Well I couldn't drive my own car for a little while, while I was waiting for my manual license to get all approved. I had to do testing and all that kind of stuff, to get approved to drive again. Because I couldn't drive, the scheme lent me a car, which was an automatic, because I could drive that. I basically had that until I could to get back to drive my manual vehicle. I don't know what I would have done without it.

Cameron Pocock:

The scheme, I guess it helps probably a lot, because it takes all the pressure off of funding and organizing stuff, and allows you to have stuff that you might not be able to have if the scheme wasn't there.
