The Lifetime Support Authority (LSA) administers the Lifetime Support Scheme (LSS) in accordance with the Lifetime Support Scheme Rules (LSS Rules). The LSS Rules explain the eligibility criteria of the scheme, what can be funded as treatment, care and support as well as the approach if you disagree with a decision made by the LSA about your eligibility or treatment, care and support needs.

The Lifetime Support Authority has undertaken an extensive review of the Lifetime Support Scheme Rules and we are interested in your feedback and thoughts on the proposed changes.

The LSA is conducting the consultation process through the South Australian Government’s YourSAy website.

The first round of consultation concluded on  Friday 11 February 2022.

The LSA reviewed all the feedback provided in the first round of consultation.

As a result of the feedback received from the first round of the consultation, further changes have been proposed to the LSS Rules, and the LSA is using the South Australian Government’s YourSAy website to conduct the second round of consultation.

The second round of consultation runs from 6 April 2022 to 6 May 2022.
