Jodie sustained multiple injuries when a kangaroo that had been hit by another vehicle came through her car windscreen and hit her.
The accident left her with a traumatic brain injury, multiple breaks and fractures and a punctured lung.
The LSA has supported Jodie and her family since the very beginning of her recovery and rehabilitation journey. This support has helped Jodie continue the activities she loves including walking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Jodie feels the LSA provides a valuable service to a range of participants. She joined the PRG in 2023 to share her thoughts and ideas to improve the Scheme.
