Grace is the guardian of her son who is an LSS Participant. Grace’s son has a brain injury as a result of a motor vehicle accident in 2021.
The LSA has provided Grace’s son with a wide variety of supports including coordinating access to a broad range of allied health professionals.
The LSA has not only supported Grace’s son but also his family members. Grace feels this support was vital to the family during a challenging period.
‘At the time, we were absolutely at a loss and were unaware of how difficult it would be.’
Grace joined the PRG in 2023 because she has experienced firsthand the benefits of the LSS.
‘The LSA provides life changing support to LSS Participants and I would like to be involved in continuing the focus on providing the best outcomes for participants.’
