As South Australia readies to open our borders from 23 November, and in line with the SA COVID-Ready Plan, the LSA is actively engaged with agencies and providers to ensure we keep abreast of pending changes to our environment and work through impacts with minimal disruption to our services. While we welcome the freedoms of open borders, the reduced restrictions to enter SA will impact us in other ways – a known example is the Emergency Direction which has various mandates including vaccination for anybody attending a health setting and requirements for all disability services staff to be vaccinated.
