The current Strategic Plan, launched in July 2022, runs through to June 2026 and continues to guide our organisation’s direction and priorities. It has supported measurable progress across five key themes. The LSA ensures all new initiatives are aligned with at least one of these themes. Progress against the five themes is reported to our Board and in our Annual Report.

Strategic planning helps us set a clear direction for long-term success - aligning our resources, strengthening decision-making, managing risks, and keeping everyone focused on shared goals.

As the current strategic plan reaches its conclusion, we are undertaking the preparation for the next plan, which is intended to take effect from 1 July 2026. We are consulting widely with key stakeholders as part of that preparation. The new strategy is expected to be approved by the Board in June and will be available publicly via our website from July.

Consultation will ensure that key stakeholders have the opportunity to help shape the future of the LSA.
